Born and raised in the Treasure Valley, Dara obtained her undergraduate degree at Idaho State University and graduated with honors from the University of Idaho College of Law. In her early career, she served as a law clerk for the Idaho Court of Appeals and then as a litigator specializing in high-stakes commercial litigation, assisting clients in obtaining multi-million dollar verdicts. Following that, she spent ten years helping people and businesses get a fresh start through bankruptcy. She is delighted to continue to provide high quality bankruptcy representation, while also returning to litigation and business counseling at Dempsey Foster.

She sits on the board of a non-profit organization supporting creative writers and enjoys serving in the community. When she isn't providing high-quality legal representation for her clients, she enjoys spending time with her family in Idaho's great outdoors.
