Jennifer Schrack Dempsey is a trusted advisor and strategic partner to businesses, serving in general counsel roles and guiding clients through complex transactions with clarity and precision. She counsels companies on a broad spectrum of legal and business matters, including corporate governance, contract negotiation and drafting, risk management, and employment law compliance. Jennifer works closely with executives, boards, and management teams to structure deals, resolve operational challenges, and navigate regulatory landscapes in ways that advance business goals while minimizing legal exposure.
As a founding partner at Dempsey Foster, her transactional practice is complemented by deep experience in dispute resolution and litigation. Jennifer has litigated and favorably resolved matters involving business torts, contract disputes, partnership and fiduciary duty claims, employment matters, construction contracts, high-stakes commercial conflicts, and catastrophic personal injury. She has particular expertise in agribusiness, managing issues related to general liability, production, crop destruction, distribution, and the marketing of crop inputs.
Recognized for her skill both at the negotiating table and in the courtroom, Jennifer has earned an AV® Preeminent™ rating and Preeminent Judicial Award from Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest peer rating standard for legal expertise and ethical standards. She has also been inducted as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America in 2019, when she also received the Peter Perlman Service Award, recognizing her volunteer efforts and work for the community. She devotes substantial time to pro bono work, advocating for refugees, minors, and the elderly, and serving as a guardian ad litem.
Jennifer lives in Boise with her husband and two children. A former NCAA Division I volleyball player, she brings the same competitive drive and teamwork to her legal practice.
