Alyson adopts an incisive and direct approach to representing businesses and individuals in the courtroom and boardroom. She has advised and represented a wide range of clients in federal and state court litigation, focusing on commercial disputes, contracts, employment law, insurance liability, corporations law, business torts, insurance coverage, and shareholder derivative actions. She advises in-house litigation counsel and risk managers, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses on contracts, governance, employment, insurance, and risk management.
Alyson is dedicated to her pro bono practice, helping victims of domestic violence and abuse and underserved members of the community in various channels. She advises nonprofit organizations on startup and governance issues to help them accomplish their mission. She has also written several amicus curiae briefs for the U.S. Supreme Court on constitutional law issues such as voting rights.
